After the successful completion of the Prosport R&D center project, GI Contracting was given the opportunity to further develop the office of the new Prosport factory in Nghi Xuan – Ha Tinh. The Nghi Xuan factory stands as the largest and most advanced in the ProSport chain, notably constructed in accordance with LEED GOLD standards for sustainable development, reflecting the company’s commitment to social responsibility towards the community and the environment.

The client’s objective is to establish a factory office that embodies modernity while being fully equipped to cater to work requirements and to welcome international clients from major global markets such as the US, Europe, Canada, Japan, Korea, and more. The design also aims to incorporate cultural aspects and narratives about the local area where the factory is located.
In addition, the design incorporates “green” elements such as fresh air circulation, greenery-filled spaces, outdoor lakes, and the use of renewable energy sources like solar panels. The intention is to create an atmosphere where anyone entering the factory feels as though they are stepping into a natural, green, and open space, rather than a confined industrial factory.
In response to the project’s requirements, the architects and designers at GI analyzed the benefits of the space and its surrounding environment. They utilized moodboards featuring natural, rustic materials, combined with greenery and bright light, to foster a sense of rejuvenation and well-being for the workers. Creative elements suggested by Prosport, such as “cobblestones” characteristic of the arid lands of the Central region, or “ants” symbolizing the diligence of workers, are ingeniously integrated into the overall space. These elements serve as unique highlights that simultaneously harmonize with and enhance the images and identity of the Prosport brand.
“Green” materials, including recycled plastic, recycled sound absorption panels, textiles made from renewable materials, and FSC standard wood, are used in alignment with the company’s mission and message. The Board of Directors aims to convey a commitment to human health and societal sustainable development through the creation of this space.

The project design won the “Gold Medal” at the VMARK – 2023 architecture and design honor award of the VDAS Design Association for the design category combining colors and traditional materials. The award is the result of the efforts and abilities of the GI Contracting team of architects along with the companionship and support from Prosport.
