The narrative of the Koi fish’s transformation into a Dragon after overcoming the waterfall serves as a powerful metaphor for the unwavering efforts of individuals or teams to rise. In celebration of the Year of the Dragon 2024, GI Contracting hosted a year-end celebration themed “Ascending the Waterfall – Becoming the Dragon” to acknowledge the persistent endeavors of all GI members throughout the previous year and to motivate everyone to aim for new achievements in the upcoming year.

 The event included an annual ceremony expressing gratitude for the “Legendary Kois” who have been an integral part of GI for 5 and 10 years. The “Koi Transformation” was a significant contest based on GI members’ narratives about their personal growth and remarkable transformations during their tenure with GI Contracting. The highlight of the event was the “Golden Koi 2023 Award”, which honored individuals, departments, and project teams of the year for their efforts, courage, and significant accomplishments. The event was imbued with vibrant, joyful, and dynamic imagery, serving as a source of inspiration for a promising start to the new year 2024.
